What is a padel Americano?
The Americano is a play-with-friends padel format where every player changes partner each round. All the points scored in each match are added up individually. The player with the highest total at the end wins. The partner rotation is set in advance by the tool.
What is a padel Mexicano?
The Mexicano works like the Americano (individual scoring, same points format) but each round's pairs are recomputed live from the standings: 1st plays with 4th, against 2nd and 3rd. That produces more balanced matches and puts players of similar level together.
What is the King of the Court in padel?
King of the Court is a pairs format with a ladder of courts. Court 1 is the top. After each round the winners move up a court and the losers move down. Partners rotate. The pair on court 1 at the end are the King of the Court.
How many players do you need for an Americano / Mexicano / King of the Court?
You need at least 4 players (1 court). Multiples of 4 (8, 12, 16) are ideal for filling every court. You can also play with an odd number: one player sits out each round in turn. The tool handles those cases automatically.
