Run a padel tournament
Free referee tool · no account · share by link
PadelHub provides a complete padel refereeing tool, usable from any browser. From building the pairs to the final draw, every step of running a tournament is covered: FFT licence search, seedings computed on the FFT scale, pools, knockout draw and a printable call-up sheet.
The tool is 100% free, with no sign-up, and produces a share link so players can follow their tournament live. A big-screen mode puts the draw on the club TV with a QR code to follow along.
- Create a tournament: choose the level (P25 to P3000), the age category and the discipline (DM, DD, DX).
- Add the pairs via FFT licence search, or by hand for unlicensed players.
- The tool computes the seedings and suggests a pool configuration from the number of entries.
- Start the draw: generate the matches, enter the scores, and the qualifiers and winners update in real time.
- Print the call-ups or put the big-screen mode on a club TV.
Free, no account. You get a link to share with the players.
What the referee tool does
- Building the pairsSearch by FFT licence number, or enter unlicensed players by hand. Every pair is validated and duplicates are blocked.
- Automatic seedingsThe tool computes each pair's weight (sum of FFT rankings, lower means stronger) and applies the FFT assimilation rule for unranked players.
- Pools and drawA round-robin pool phase with automatic qualification, then a knockout draw (classic format or staggered entries by waves of courts). Optional third-place play-off.
- Call-up sheetGenerates the FFT sheet: call-up time, seeding, name, ranking and team weight. Print or export to CSV in one click.
- Big-screen (TV) modeA full-screen live board: real-time standings, match results and the winner highlighted. A QR code to follow from a phone.
- Share by linkA read-only link for players and spectators, a private editing link for the referee. No account, no sign-up.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account to use the tool?
No. The tool is entirely free and needs no sign-up. Just create a tournament to get a private editing link and a read-only share link.
How are the seedings calculated?
A pair's weight is the sum of both players' FFT rankings (lower means stronger). Unranked players (NC) are assimilated to the last ranked player of their gender plus one, per FFT regulations. The order can be adjusted by hand.
Does the tool handle staggered entries?
Yes. The FFT staggered-entry format puts the weakest pairs in the early rounds and the strongest straight into the quarter- or semi-finals, depending on how many courts are available. The call-up sheet adjusts the times wave by wave automatically.
Can the tool be used for the DM, DD and DX categories?
Yes. The tool handles all three disciplines: Men's Doubles (DM), Women's Doubles (DD) and Mixed Doubles (DX). For mixed events, women's rankings are converted using the FFT women-to-men equivalence grid before the seedings are computed.
