Privacy policy
Last updated: 31 May 2026
This policy explains which personal data PadelHub France processes, why, on what legal basis, for how long, and how to exercise your rights - in particular the removal of your player profile.
1. Data controller
The data controller is the publisher of the PadelHub France site (see legal notice), reachable at contact@padel-hub.fr.
2. Data processed and its source
PadelHub France aggregates padel ranking data publicly available on the French Tennis Federation's Ten'Up platform. For the players listed, we process:
- identity: first name, last name, gender;
- sporting identifiers: FFT licence number and Ten'Up identifier;
- ranking data: rank, points, ranking history, assimilated status;
- sporting results: tournaments played, level, points, dates and partner's name;
- affiliation: club, town, department.
This data comes from public sources (Ten'Up / FFT) and not from direct collection from the individuals concerned (article 14 GDPR).
If you claim your profile with your licence number, your preferences (levels and categories followed) are stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and are not sent to our servers.
3. Purposes
- to offer a freely accessible French padel directory and rankings;
- to allow searching for players and tournaments, and calculating FFT points;
- to publish informational editorial content (rankings, results) on our social media.
4. Legal basis
Processing rests on thelegitimate interest of PadelHub France (article 6.1.f GDPR) in surfacing already-public ranking data for the padel community. That interest is balanced against your rights: the data processed is limited to the sporting sphere, contains no sensitive data, and you may object to the processing and request removal of your profile at any time (see section 7).
5. Recipients and sharing
Your ranking data may be reused in content published on the Instagram account @padelhub.france (rankings, player highlights, tournament results). Those posts are distributed via Meta Platforms.
We also use technical processors for hosting (Vercel, Supabase) and audience measurement (see section 8). We neither sell nor rent your data.
6. Retention period
Ranking data is kept for as long as it is relevant to the service and is refreshed regularly from the source. Technical backups are kept for 7 days. If you request removal, your profile is deleted as soon as possible (see section 7).
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability over your data.
You may request removal of your player profile from the site at any time. Just write to us at contact@padel-hub.fr giving your name and, if possible, your licence number or the link to your profile. We will act on it as soon as possible.
You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL - www.cnil.fr.
8. Cookies, local storage and audience measurement
PadelHub France sets no advertising cookies and no profiling trackers. We use:
- local storage (localStorage) to remember your claimed profile and your preferences, on your device only;
- aggregated audience measurement (Vercel Analytics), privacy-friendly and with no individual identification cookie;
- in-house usage measurement, hosted by us: the site and the apps record which screens are viewed and a few actions (search, opening a profile), tied to two random identifiers: one lives only for the duration of the visit or the app launch, the other stays on your device so you are not counted as a new visitor each time, and it is renewed after 13 months. No account identifier, no name and no IP address is kept, and these measurements never leave our hosting. They are deleted after 90 days.
8b. Push notifications
If you turn notifications on, we store the technical subscription identifier your browser provides (the notification endpoint and its keys) along with your alert preferences: topics chosen (new tournaments, ranking), clubs followed, departments and levels. This data is used solely to send you the notifications you asked for (at most one per topic per day) and is not shared with any third party for commercial purposes. Delivery goes through your browser's notification service (Google, Apple or Mozilla depending on the device). You can turn notifications off at any time from the Profile page ("Turn off on this device") or in your browser settings; the subscription is then deleted from our servers. Inactive or invalid subscriptions are deleted automatically.
9. Transfers outside the European Union
Some providers (Vercel, Meta) are established in the United States. Any transfers are covered by the appropriate safeguards provided for by the GDPR (standard contractual clauses and/or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework).
10. Contact
For any question about your data: contact@padel-hub.fr.
