Delete my data

This page covers the site padel-hub.fr and the PadelHub France app, published by Adrien Guffens. It explains how to request deletion of your data, what is erased and what is not.

PadelHub France has no user accounts : no sign-up, no password, no email address asked for. Most settings live on your device and disappear with the app.

1. Requesting deletion of your player profile

This is the most common request. The published ranking comes from public data of the French Tennis Federation, and you may object to it.

1. Write to contact@padel-hub.fr with the subject "Deletion of my data".
2. Give your first and last name and, if you have it, your licence number or the link to your profile.
3. We confirm by return email. Your profile is anonymised and your name is added to an opt-out list, so that a later sync cannot republish it.

No justification is needed, and the request is free.

2. Deleting the data tied to your device

This data carries no name: it is attached to a random identifier belonging to your device, not to your identity.

1. Notifications : turn them off in the app (Profile, then Notifications) or on the site. The subscription row and its history are deleted immediately.
2. Linked licence and favourites : they are stored on your device only. Signing out from the profile, or uninstalling the app, erases them for good.
3. Usage statistics : uninstalling the app, or clearing the site data in your browser, ends the link. The identifier is then unusable and expires on its own.

You can also request erasure by email at the same address; we will then tell you how to find the identifier concerned, the only way to target those rows in the absence of an account.

3. What is deleted, what is kept

Technical database backups are kept for 7 days. Deleted data may therefore remain in them for that long before disappearing for good.
